Acquire advanced training and updated knowledge of the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis and physiopathology of diseases, especially cancer and metabolic diseases.

Obtain knowledge and training in the hypotheses, methodology and techniques currently used in research, diagnosis and prognosis. To learn more about the treatment and prevention of these diseases.

Acquire a solid, broad and integrated base to develop doctoral studies in basic and applied biomedical research and necessary skills for experimental laboratory work, under the supervision of experts.

Develop the ability to perform professional tasks in biomedical research, clinical analysis, and the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, which do not require a doctorate or a specialized official qualification in health sciences.
