The main foundations of the Bachelor Degree in Music program are:

  • Develop advanced critical thinking and creative problem solving through regular performance-based activities and theoretical study.

The Bachelor Degree in Music generally requires 4 years of full-time study to complete 120 credits. 

What is and What Does a Bachelor in Music Do ?

Contrary to popular belief, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree does not prevent you from making a living. Graduates of a Bachelor of Music Degree can seek employment in a variety of fields, including education, performance, or the music industry in general.

Singing Musician

When most people think of music careers, these performers tend to think first. This profession includes popular musicians and bands, as well as opera singers, instrumental soloists, and professional symphony members.

Music Director

Depending on the position, music directors may serve professional choral or instrumental ensembles as conductors, public ambassadors, and administrative organizers.

Audio Producer / Sound Technician

In the music industry, sound engineering technicians work in recording studios or performance halls. These professionals operate, maintain and make adjustments to equipment for audio recording and/or playback, ensuring consistent, high-quality sound at all times.

Composer
