This scale is automatically calibrated, so simply step on your large tempered glass platform and receive immediate results on a large backlit LCD display.

How to Use Etekcity Scales ?
The glass platform is slippery when wet. Make sure the platform is dry before stepping on it for measurement.
Consult your family doctor or physician before making changes to your diet.
Exercise, plan and/or do physical activities.
This scale is not for commercial use.
To weigh safely and accurately, stand in the center of the platform and remain still until the result is calculated
Do not stand at the edge of the scale or jump into it.
Do not stand on the scale platform for a long period of time or when not in weighing operation.
Clean the scale with a damp cloth and avoid water or any other liquid from falling into the scale.
Always keep the scale in a horizontal position, do not store it vertically.
If the scale does not turn on, check that the batteries are installed correctly. Replace the batteries if necessary.
If an error appears on the display or if the scale does not turn off automatically, remove the batteries for 3 seconds, then reinstall them.
If the scale is not in use for an extended period, remove the batteries to ensure that the scale is maintained.

We have been using this Etekcity digital scale for a year now and at home we are very satisfied with the scale so far.
I have been using this scale since the beginning of the year. So far, it has managed to weigh with an accuracy of up to +/- 0.02 lbs, which is more than acceptable for a simple body weight scale.
